Alvin LeRoy Budd, Jr., 77, of Ocala, FL, passed away on March 29, 2017. He was much loved by his wife of 59 years, Sheila; his three daughters, Kimberly (Tom) Smith, Karyn (Chad) Mattern, and Kathryn (Craig) Procyk; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. After his retirement in 2005, he enjoyed traveling, spending times with his family and friends, and his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A private service will be held at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Greenwood, IN. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Alvin and I spent many a school afternoon out looking for the first lending library in blinden township. We found it in an attic. He was a good friend. And will be missed.
